The Government had started a vande bharat mission to evict ashore Indians from abroad on May 6. Since international flights has been sling in India due to covid-19 or a coronavirus pandemic.
Vande Bharat Mission Phase 4
Air India will fly 114 flights, IndiGo and GoAir will operate 457 and 41 flights between July 3 and July 15 under the fourth phase of the Vande Bharat Mission.
The Government has started a mission to take off the Indians from abroad on May 6. Scheduled has been fixed for international passengers, flights have been suspended in India since March 23 due to the coronavirus or Covid-19. IndiGo, Air India and GoAir to Operate Flights Between July 3-15
Under the Fourth Phase of the mission, Air India will operate 114 flights to India from 17 countries i.e Canada, US, UK, Sri Lanka, Japan, Myanmar, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Ukraine and Vietnam to the airline’s documents accessed by PTI.
Air India’s chartered flights are fixed to operate between july 3 and 15, the aforementioned official document stated.
It has been said that airlines will fly 31 flights from the US and 19 flights from the UK. In previous documents Air India has said that it will set off a total of 170 flights to and from 17 countries.
The major role in the fourth phase of mission is played by private airlines like IndiGo and GoAir.
In a tweet on sunday evening, the Civil Aviation Ministry said, Private Airlines will play a major role in Phase-4 of VBM. Among others, IndiGo will operate 238 flights from Qatar and 219 flights from Kuwait, while GoAir will operate 41 flights from Kuwait. Number of pvt carriers, flights and destinations likely to increase.
