SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
This morning you are taken on a game drive into Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, which is also a World Heritage Site. It is famed for its annual migration, during which when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeests’ trek in search of fresh grazing lands. At other times too, the Serengeti National Park offers scintillating game-viewing: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK - NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
Enjoy Morning game drive at Serengeti. Proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a protected area and a World Heritage Site west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. Large animals in the crater include the black rhinoceros, the African buffalo or Cape buffalo and the hippopotamus. There also are many other animals such as blue wildebeest, Grant's zebra, The common eland and Grant's and Thomson's gazelles. Water bucks occur mainly near Lerai Forest. Tanzanian cheetah, East African wild dog and also African Leopard are rarely seen.
