Today, proceed to the sacred town of Dwarka. Visit Dwarkadeesh Temple and Gomti Ghat. In the afternoon take a trip to Bet Dwarka, visit Old Temple of Krishna. the trip from Okha on the mainland to the temple is by a local boat. On the way to Bet Dwarka, visit Nageshwar Temple – One of the 12th Jyotilingam of Shiva. Rukmini Temple and Gopi Talav Return back to Dwarka. Overnight stay at the hotel.

On An Island In The Center Of The Lake Stands The Circular Lakhota Tower, Built For Drought Relief On Orders From Jam Ranmalji After The Failed Monsoons In 1834, 1839 And 1846 Made It Difficult For The People Of The City To Find Food And Resources. Originally Designed As A Fort Such That Soldiers Posted Around It Could Fend Off An Invading Enemy Army With The Lake Acting As A Moat, The Tower Known As Lakhota Palace Now Houses The Lakhota Museum. The Collection Includes Artifacts Spanning From 9th To 18th Century, Pottery From Medieval Villages Nearby And The Skeleton Of A Whale. The Very First Thing You See On Entry, However, Before The Historical And Archaeological Information, Is The Guardroom With Muskets, Swords And Powder Flasks, Reminding You Of The Structure’s Original Purpose And Proving The Martial Readiness Of The State At The Time. The Walls Of The Museum Are Also Covered In Frescoes Depicting Various Battles Fought By The Jadeja Rajputs. The Fort Is Connected To The Banks By Two Causeways, But Is Only Accessible From The North Side.

DWARKA

Dwarka Is An Ancient City And A Municipality Of Devbhoomi Dwarka District In The State Of Gujarat In Northwestern India. It Is Located On The Western Shore Of The Okhamandal Peninsula On The Right Bank Of The Gomti River. In 2011 It Had A Population Of 38,873. Dwarka Is One Of The Chardhams, Four Sacred Hindu Pilgrimage Sites, And Is One Of The Sapta Puri, The Seven Most Ancient Religious Cities In The Country. Dwarka Is Often Identified With The Dwarka Kingdom, The Ancient Kingdom Of Krishna, And Is Believed To Have Been The First Capital Of Gujarat.

PORBANDAR

The Ancestral House Of Gandhi Family, Where Mahatma Gandhi Was Born On 2 October 1869 Is Just Adjacent To The Kirti Mandir. At The Time When Gandhi Was Released For The Last Time In Year 1944 From The Aga Khan Palace By The British Government, The Residential Public Of Porbandar Had Decided To Construct An Ideal Memorial On The Birth Palace Of Mahatmaji. At That Time, Organization Of The Project Was Accomplished By The Intensive Efforts Of The Easrtwhile Maharaja Of Porbandar, H.H. Maharana Shri Natavarsinhji, And Raj Ratna Shri Nanjibhai Kalidas Mehta And His Wife, Smt. Santokbehn Mehta. Before The Foundation Of The Kirti Mandir Was Started, The Adjacent Ancestral House Was Purchased From Those Members Of The Gandhian Family Who Were Living In It. Mahatmaji Himself, On His Own Part Had Given His Consent To Nanjibhai In Writing, With Legal Documents For The Sale Of The Whole Building. He Had Signed With His Own Hand The Registration Papers, Which Are Displayed At A Museum Room In Kirti Mandir Complex. The Ancestral House, As Such, Now Forms A Part Of Kriti Mandir Complex.

SOMNATH

The Somnath Temple Located In Prabhas Patan Near Junagadh In Saurashtra On The Western Coast Of Gujarat, India Is Believed To Be The First Among The Twelve Jyotirlinga Shrines Of Shiva.[1] It Is An Important Pilgrimage And Tourist Spot Of Gujarat. Reconstructed Several Times In The Past After Repeated Destruction By Several Muslim Invaders And Rulers,[2] The Present Temple Was Reconstructed In Chaulukya Style Of Hindu Temple Architecture And Completed In May 1951. The Reconstruction Was Started Under The Orders Of The Home Minister Of India Vallabhbhai Patel And Completed After His Death.

DIU

Diu Is A Town In Diu District In The Union Territory Of Dadra And Nagar Haveli And Daman And Diu, India. Diu District Is The Tenth Least Populated District Of India. The Town Of Diu Lies At The Eastern End Of Diu Island And Is Known For Its Fortress And Old Portuguese Cathedral. It Is A Fishing Town. The City Is One Of The Hundred Indian Cities Competing In A National Level Competition To Get The Funds Under Narendra Modi's Flagship Smart Cities Mission. Diu Will Be Competing For The One Of Last 10 Spots Against 20 Cities From Across India.

SASAN GIR

Besides Africa, Gir National Park In Gujarat Is The Only Place In The World Where You Can Spot Lions Roaming Free In The Wild. The Real Discovery Channel Of India Is Situated Approximately 65 Kms South East Of Junagarh District. The Government Notified The Large Geographical Extent Of Sasan Gir As Wildlife Sanctuary On 18th September, 1965 In Order To Conserve The Asiatic Lion. It Covers Total Area Of 1412 Square Kilometers Of Which 258 Km Forms The Core Area Of The National Park. Indiscriminate Hunting By The People Of Junagarh Led To Their Decrease In Population Drastically, While They Were Completely Wiped Out From The Other Parts Of Asia. It Was The Kind Effort Of Nawabs Of Junagarh Who Protected The Queen Royalty In His Own Private Hunting Grounds. Later In Due Course Of Time Department Of Forest Officials Came Forward To Protect The World’s Most Threatened Species. From A Population Of Approximately 20 Lions In 1913, They Have Risen To A Comfortable 523 According To 2015 Census. There Are 106 Male, 201 Female And 213 Sub-Adult Lions In The Wilderness Of These Four Districts.

JUNAGADH

Junagadh is a city in the western Indian state of Gujarat. Mahabat Maqbara is the huge 19th-century mausoleum of a local ruler, which showcases intricate Indo-Islamic architectural details. Uparkot Fort, founded around 300 BC, has city views from its ramparts. Within the fort are the stone-cut stepwells Adi Kadi Vav and Navghan Kuwo, plus Buddhist caves. To the west, Darbar Hall Museum is housed in a former palace.

AHMADABAD

Ahmedabad, Pronounced As Amdavad In Gujarati Is The Largest City And Former Capital Of The Indian State Of Gujarat.
