The Rohtang Pass

The pass is famous for its spectacular splendor with views of glaciers, snow-clad mountain peaks, lush valleys, and River Chandra. The Rohtang Pass is a natural boundary between the predominantly Hindu-cultured Kullu Valley and the Buddhists of high altitude Lahaul and Spiti Valleys.

Old Manali

Hadimba Devi Temple

The Hidimba Devi temple, also known as Dhungari Temple is a popular tourist destination in Manali. The intricate four-story wooden temple is located amid the dense Van Vihar. This pagoda-styled building is dedicated to the  Goddess Hadimba. Although there is no idol to worship there yet a set of foot imprints treasured as divine.

Arjun Gufa

Arjun Gufa is a well-known tourist location owing to its splendid beauty and the legendary tale associated with it. It is believed Arjun, the famous Pandava from Mahabharata meditated in this cave. Manali wildlife sanctuary is spread across 3180 hectares of land. This marvelous location is densely covered with trees such as Deodar, Horse Chestnut, Maple, and Walnut. Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib

Basheshwar Mahadev Temple

The Basheshwar Mahadev Temple is located on the banks of River Beas. The temple is well-known for exquisite stone carvings, sculptures, and flat shikhara. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple dates back to the 9th century. Inside the shrine is a massive  Yoni Lingam idol, representing Lord Shiva and his consort, Goddess Parvati.

Sultanpur Palace

Sultanpur Palace was once the royal residence of a former reigning family of the Kullu region. Now the palace displays brilliant paintings belonging to the royals as well as Kullu cultural heritage. The interiors of the palace are adorned with paintings created by the fusion of local Pahari and Colonial styles. Tourists can marvel at the intricate architecture of the magnificently constructed palace. You can even enjoy some authentic food prepared by chefs on demand inside the palace.
